Ross Lee Steffens

April 28, 1939 ~ November 29, 2017 (age 78)

Ross Lee Steffens, 78 passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with Diabetes. Ross was born on April 28,1939 to Walter Lee and Verda Mae Steffens. Ross married the love of his life Lorraine Hatfield on August 12,1970 in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they had 5 children; Scott, Michelle, Camille, Christian and Suzanne.

Ross was a lifetime Springville resident where he made many friends. He loved and cherished the Red Devil class of 1957. Ross served an LDS mission to the Northern States and remained an active member throughout his life. He held many callings and served a service mission with his sweet wife.

Ross was very well known in Springville and surrounding areas not only through his career as a Real Estate agent but also through his humorous personality. Everyone who met him was instantly drawn to his charismatic personality, ability to tell a story and just his genuine good looks.

Ross led a full and active life. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved deer hunting and pheasant hunting on his brother's farm in Delta. He was a great fisherman and spent much of his time

fishing in his favorite location of Fairview Canyon where he owned a cabin.

Ross was extremely athletic. He played softball and basketball. He loved basketball so much that he would often sneak out of the house to play. He continued playing throughout his life and even participated in the Senior Games. He also sponsored many youth teams.

Everyone who knew Ross loved him. He left you feeling better about yourself. His influence is lifelong and he will be missed more than words can express. We love you.

Ross is survived by his loving wife and caretaker Lorraine, his children; Scott, Michelle, Christian (Laura), Camille (Matthew), Suzanne (Lucas), 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, siblings (Ray Brown and Jackie Vorhees) and one grandson (Brandon Steffens).
